ThermalStats CLI 2.3: link your PC, and results save to your account

Version 2.3 links a PC to your free ThermalStats account in a few seconds. From then on, every result you submit from that PC saves to your account, along with its earlier results.

ThermalStats 2.3 makes accounts hands-free. Download it from the Run Test page. If you already have ThermalStats 2, download it again to get the update.

Press A (Account) in ThermalStats and choose Link. ThermalStats shows a short code and opens your browser; sign in if asked and click Link. That's it: ThermalStats finishes on its own.

From then on, every result you submit from that PC saves to your account automatically, with no Save button to click. Results you ran on that PC before you linked it are added too.

Only approve a code you started yourself, in ThermalStats on your own PC. Whoever you approve can add results to your account.

See and remove linked PCs

The PCs you've linked are listed under Settings on the website, with when each one last sent a result. Click Unlink to stop a PC saving to your account; results it already saved stay. You can also unlink from ThermalStats itself: press A and choose Unlink.

For scripts

Without the full-screen interface, thermalstats --link links the PC and thermalstats --unlink removes the link.

Get it

Download ThermalStats 2.3 from the Run Test page, or see the code on GitHub.
