New: public profiles, forum signature cards and invites

Show your level, badges and PCs on a public profile of your own, add a signature card to your forum posts, and earn XP when friends you invite save their first result. Profiles are opt-in and kept out of search engines.

You can now publish a public profile: a page at thermalstats.com/u/your-handle with your level, XP, badges and the PCs you choose to show, each with its latest temperatures and how they compare with other PCs on the same hardware. Set it up under Settings → Public profile.

What's on it, and what isn't

  • Your handle, which you choose (it's never your Google or Discord name), plus an optional display name and a short bio.
  • Your level, XP and badges.
  • The PCs you leave switched on, each with its latest result, how many results you've saved, and any before/after improvements.

Your email address is never shown, results you unlisted never appear, and profiles are kept out of search engines. Nothing is public until you tick Publish my profile, and you can unpublish or delete it at any time.

A card for your forum signature

Every published profile gets a small card image with your handle, level, XP and badges. Settings gives you the code to paste for BBCode forums, HTML and Markdown. The card links to your profile and updates as you level up.

Invite friends

Your profile link doubles as an invite. When someone creates an account from it and saves a result within 30 days, you get 50 XP and the new Recruiter badge (bronze, silver and gold at 1, 5 and 25 invites). If a friend signed up without the link, they can enter your handle in their Settings during their first 30 days. Results from your own PCs don't count.

What's next

Season 1 starts on January 1, 2027, and we're working on leaderboards that compare each PC with others on the same hardware. If there's something you'd like to see, let us know.
